Funding Contribution Ranges from Tolls

Several factors influence the funding available to construct the Columbia River Crossing (CRC) project:

  • Whether one or two bridges are tolled
  • The variable toll range or the fixed toll amount
  • The start date for tolls

Notes:
  • Draft EIS toll is $2 during peak hours and less during off-peak hours.
  • The amounts depicted are based on a 30-year repayment bond.
  • If tolling began the year construction starts, hours of congestion would decline and up to an additional $330 million could be generated.
